Lol, I just realized I am running out of time for my COPR. At this pace, I might have to re-do my medicals. Frustrating to see this pathetic level of standards and poor organization shown by IRCC here.
Does getting invitation to PR Confirmation Portal means that we have been approved for permanent residence, now all we wait for is COPR and PR Card?
Yes. The PR confirmation portal is basically a new of way “landing” an in-Canada applicant. IRCC would want to confirm that you’re in Canada before issuing your COPR. The portal also claims that you’ll get your PR card faster rather than sending it via post as before.
Like other Jan 6 recipients, I am still waiting for login credentials from IRCC Etobicoke. I never thought I would have to wait for more than 2 weeks for a username and password. People who sent their details and got their portal login credentials, could you please post the format? I want to make sure it is not the format causing the delay.
I can not go see my MP because he was licking the current IRCC minister's boots at the last Citizenship and Immigration committee, crediting the current minister's *TRANSPARENCY* and *LEADERSHIP*. I doubt that person would do anything.
The email said one line, so I hit reply so it has “re:” on the email subject and did it like this (with commas to separate the info):
First name last name, UCI, email, DD MMM YYYY, name of airport
I didn’t put any salutations or final remarks.
I got my login credentials in 4 days.

This portal must be the joke of the century. At least with a COPR sent by email, one can start accumulating days towards fulfilling the residency quota for citizenship. This portal has instead trapped people in limbo for 'faster' PR card processing.

Thanks, chum. I appreciate your help.

I completely agree. This is their way of “leveraging on technology”.

Yes, it is insane to think that I have been waiting since Dec 02 (approval date) as an inland applicant to get my COPR. I am probably gonna have to wait 4-5 weeks after getting my login to download eCOPR. Doing the math, 7 weeks (assuming I get my creds tomorrow) + 5 weeks + 1 week (for the PR card) = 13 weeks of wait after 'innovative ways.'
I believe 3 of us in the forum with same agent id,m
I have also same agent TT19XXX (Etobicoke), and I've got the first email on Jan 7th from him. Followed-up last week but still no response.

Lol, that makes four of us now. We likely got a slacker.
hey guys, how long does PR card take to arrive after eCOPR(wating for picture to be approved)? thanks

Same agent tt197**, received at 7 jan. Etobicoke. That makes us 5 now. Please keep us updated folks if anyone of us receive the credentials.
I believe we have the same agent. PM me and let’s see if we really have the same agent.
I belive I have the same one. Waiting from January 8.
I got credentials in a day on reply with details. ... so probably it just depends on the person.
