MED: No news yet (I did it back in September upfront)

Quick question on biometrics: my BIL letter states "Most applicants will need to give their biometrics BEFORE traveling to Canada". I came to Canada on a travel exemption from IRCC 3 months ago to stay with my girlfriend during the current crisis... Can I give biometrics in Canada even if I've applied on the FSW-Outland program? According to the IRCC website I don't see why I wouldn't be able to, but this letter made me question that. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Just get a reference letter for your new position as per CIC criteria.

My question is if theres a delay in biometric ,will my application moves forward or goes on hold..

All the processes should continue in parallel, except criminality which will be completed once biometrics is uploaded into the system.

As of now no VACs in India are accepting biometrics for PR category. But it is going to be open soon as per recent announcement 2-3 days back.
