Hi dear friend, yep, I did something like that previously, I've constantly made a comment about SUV section in IRCC twitter (https://twitter.com/CitImmCanada) with this hashtag #startupvisacanada about take a real action on our paper-based applications.
Be safe and healthy
Yeah, that's a good start.
Though I dont know if IRCC will actually pay attention to complaints from applicants. - otherwise things would have already changed by now.
They really pay attention to Canadians; that's why spousal immigrations applications received a great response from IRCC because their Canadian spouses complained and protested.
In our case, our best shot, is to get the designated organizations to jointly sign an open (or closed) letter to IRCC
Then I will be 100% that IRCC will respond accordingly.
I was asked for BOTH my educational certificates and proof of salaried employment for the last 10 years. This was made as an additional document request. Again, both are NOT a part of the SUV document checklist.
Eligibility and verification are two different things.
I've sent my application in July 2020, and after submitting a Web form 1 month ago, IRCC reply that a ln application number to me. furthermore he told the process will be start from the day received application. Unfortunately, timeline was extremely extended to 28 months.

I hope that was calculated due to the fact that they did not process any applications since April. Probably, these who applied in 2019, or earlier were processed within 28 months.
But thats really strange...cuz startups could die within 2.5 years

Can you tell me what did you ask using the webform so that they sent you your application number? I would appreciate your response.
And just for a double check, were you capable of connecting your SUV Application to your CIC account using that file number?

Hello, what did you say in the webform so the IRCC can give you the File number for AOR? I have sent my application since May 2021 and havent hard anything from them. Your help would be much appriciated!
following mamad611's post, I also sent a webform and I got an AOR with a temporary application number. but unlike him, it was mentioned that my process has not been started yet.
I recommend the others to send webform to remind that startup visa program applicants exist too
Hi dear friends, just for clarification.
- As mentioned in canada.ca starting date comes from the day your complete application has been received by IRCC not the day you get temporary or permanent file number.
- About 3weeks ago, I sent a web form so an IRCC officer replied and gave me a temporary file number. Yesterday IRCC sent an email for many people like me and gave them temporary file number. I also received this email.
I hope you will receive this email within a week.

Yes I see the 28 months starts from the time my application is received. But it was exactly mentioned that without a permanent file number, your application is not being processed.
You mean you got your temporary file number 3 weeks ago and this week you got the permanent file number?
