You don't need to do the medicals again.

I got remedical exam request on 29th dec. The former was set to expire on 07th Jan 21.

Most likely your meds have been sent for assessment and a determination will be made on whether to ask for remed or give extension.

Exactly same jan 3rd 2020 AOR. No idea if this is good or bad but I have a friend who was a 14 december aor got her medicals extened on dec 8 and got the PPR one week later so hoping for the best.
