NO ! you must be strong ! you are not the first to have a refusal nor the last especially with h&c it's not guaranteed that's why we should that's why we must have several humanitarian circumstances and good reasons, as i said earlier, your fist file was not good, try to have more strong proofs, what can life in your home country can cause to your mental health for exemple (psychologyst reports), that you have strong tis in canada, many relatives or frneids , volunteer work, language courses, proof that you are a support of your frends/family members here, you can send pictures also etc....
this is not an exclusive list, don't los hope and never give up
You can’t just start the PPRA process out of the blue.. In OP’s situation it would not lead to a WP. OP arrived as a visitor and never had a WP so does not qualify for WP like others who have previously worked, studied, applied for asylum, etc. The H&C process is not meant for those arriving on a TRV who have not qualified for economic immigration or a WP from their home country. Whoever gave this couple the incorrect advice that they should arrive on a TRV and apply for H&C gave them bad advice.

i think that there is not a request for a work permit for H&C conditions directly but there is what we call the TRP, temporary residence permit, it is a request to obtain a work permit for example or a study permit or even visitor status if you cannot. do it with the normal process or maybe IRCC ask you to leave the country because you don't respect the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) , but you have to prove this and add humanitarian reasons in the request, maybe your lawyer applied for that

Yes, sent last month same date when my H and C was sent too, just dont have any idea lols....then he mention he got work permit/TRP. It just too hard to have no work, out of status and you have a baby

Honestly i dont have any idea, my consultant says I am in restoration since my work permit was refuse since february 2020 and due to covid they said I can restore my status till december. for my TRP i did not receive any nor hear anything. how about you

My friend be encourage I got I denied in my first h&c APPLICATION and reapplied with a good lawyer it was successful this time. You are not the first and you won't be the last.
