You cannot do biometric without a biometric request letter from IRCC. There is a barcode on that biometric letter for you to submit to service canada to complete your biometric. From the biometric letter, there will be instruction for you to follow and what documents to bring on the day of your appointment.

i already paid for my parent's biometric fee along with the application/service fee. now would i just wait for the request letter from ircc or after i submit the application along with the receipt?

You just need to submit your application and just go with the checklist of what is needed to put in with yr application form eg. biometric receipt and etc....

Hi everyone, VO Mississauga, the medical exam will expire on March 26th, but just got message to redo medical exam today. Good sign or bad sign?

I am surprised that you got 2nd request even before the 1st one expires. What is your AOR date?

I have just received an invitation for pgp and was wondering whats the process for biometric instructions information? does this need to be supplied with the checklist or just the receipt

Hi Friends,

I have submitted my parent's application on June 17, 2019. The application is in the process from Feb 2020. The biometric completed on Feb 19, 2020.
We have received Medical exam Request yet. We have not heard any update from FEB 2020. Please let me know if anyone else is in the same boat. Please let me know the excel file tracker with the dates as I got very worried.

Has anyone got RCMP fingerprinting request after submitting the travel doc, resume , india PCC etc.. ???

I got RCMP fingerprint request for my Mom back in Dec'19 and she was in India, I contacted CIC so many times asking how to get it done in India but they never responded me about it. Did you receive the same request? did you ever got an answer?

Biometric request will come from IRCC at a later stage in the process, usually after the sponsor is approved. Initial application doenst have to provide biometrics (can't be done without biometric request letter from IRCC)

OK. My parents medical expired after waiting for an year and now they will let me know whether remedical is required or not when they will pick my file for processing.

My file is in London with no movement since we passed medical in Feb. It is about to expire now
