We are in same boat. AOR 13 JAN , medical expiry is 29 JAN. Exact same status for me and my family. On one hand they are not processing applications efficiently leading to BIG delays in the processing time , and now they are asking for re-medicals ? Its ridiculous !!
Why should one pay $1000+ for re-medicals for their mistake ?
I received my GCMS notes (ordered on Oct 29th!) and they are a bit confusing. Application status is "open" and "in progress", consistent with the web interface. However, it also says in assessments that "Final: Approved". Furthermore, I can see that on September 2nd, we were placed in group "CPCO COVID RFV" and that on September 30, there has been a document issuance of COPR/CRP for myself and my two dependents, with "Status: not started". Nothing seems to have happened since, and no PPR/COPR email (including in spam).
Primary office is CPC Ottawa and secondary office Paris VAC. FSW-O from France, residing in France, AOR 17th Jan.
Does that mean that all that remains is for Paris VAC to actually send us the golden email? I tried contacting the VAC but they explicitly say they won't answer any question about specific cases. Any idea if raising a webform will help at all?

My AOR is Jan 9, 2020. I got PPR in Oct and sent my passports on oct 27, 2020. Till now they haven’t sent my passports back and there is no update on my medicals. I have been raising web forms but got no replies for any of them. Not sure what to do. I really need my and my dependents’ passports back. Is anyone in the same situation? What did you do?

I am not in the same situation, but did you try to call? You can use different apps depending on where you live to obtain a Canadian number and call to ask for information.

I tried calling them. But they are hanging up when we select immigration related option. I tried leaving a message on some other option which doesn’t apply to us. But still no response. I’m lost as to what to do.

I do not know why they are hanging up on you, but you may have to select a different option. Here is what I used in the past to get to talk with a real person:
IRCC phone number: +1 888-242-2100
1-1-2-2-(9-digit application number)#-1-(4-digit year of birth)-1-1-0
I do not know if this is still accurate, as I call the last time more than a month ago.

Oh, thank you! I called to their international number. I have a US phone number and not Canada number. Maybe I have to get a virtual Canada number then.
