Before AOR, we are kind in the dark.....only way to find out if they really received it is the postal tracking number.
After AOR, ECAS or IRCC account will shed you some lights

Me too I am in the same position. Application received on July 17 for my first PR card and from then the status is still in submitted status.
No update so far

Have you contacted IRCC via web form? Your application has exceeded normal processing times

My passport is getting expired in July 2021. I plan to apply for renewal of passport after getting renewed PR card. Do I still have to update the new passport information with IRCC?

Do you have any pending application with cic(apart from PR card)? If not you dont need to update on new passport.
You can renew the passport with the PR card renewal receipt too.

Hello everyone, its my first time applying for the PR card and Im not sure about the requirements. In the COPR letter it says to only submit mentioned letter and the photos, however the cic website says that i should complete forms imm5644, imm5444. Which one did you follow?

The status on my ECAS shows Decision Made! what does that mean? Approved or not? If yes when should I expect to get an update?

what's the latest delivery date for a priority service of Canada post? From Montreal to Sydney office? They claim the next day delivery in their website.

They say priority service is a next-day delivery service. However, due to Covid-19, nowadays, it’s meaningless, and there is no specific timeline defined for different services not only Canada Post, but also all other couriers offer. I used priority service to mail my package to Case-processing Center 2 months ago, and it took them 3 days to deliver my package. My friend used Express service a month after me to mail his application, and it took them 2 days to deliver it. It really depends to the location of origin! So, 1-day, 3-day and other services offered now are basically meaningless over this period of time, during which COVID-19 has affected everything.
