I wrote an email to my MP and hopefully they can help me with my mom's case. Hers hasn't been moving for almost one year.

We don't have much time to spend with our senior parents. To CIC maybe it's just a case that they see every day, but to each one of us we're looking forward to reuniting with our parents day after day

We received a letter in my cic account to get biometrics done a month ago, but we haven't been able to complete it, and ECAS is showing 'Decision made'.

Is this normal? Isn't it too early for Decision made?

I just noticed IRCC refunded my biometrics fee. ECAS is still stuck since Sep 2019 in App received (PR application)/Decision made (Sponsorship app) with CPC-Mexico even though my mom is in Canada.
Anybody else in a similar situation? Anybody with a file in Mexico had any movement in the last few months?

My moms case is process in Mexico too even though she is in Canada. Biometrics we’re done in Feb since then no movement. Mexico is a very very slow office but there has been movement in this last couple of months. Check the tracker for Mexico cases only.
