Anyone had experience that when CPCM requested info but was not able to provide it? cic Is requesting police check for my parents in China but they cannot provide them due to COVID travel restriction and other reasons, they have only resided in China for 2 years through out their life, would this have a negative impact for their application? Ie, even lead to rejection?

I received an email couple of weeks ago to paythe biometric fee and inform IRCC through the webform.
I paid the fee but unable to find any option on IRCC webform portal to inform IRCC about biometric payment.
Could you please me guide me that which option do I have to select from the dropdown menu in order to inform IRCC that Biometric Fee has paid?

Hi! The application to sponsor my parents was received on June 26, 2019. On December 21, 2019 I received the AOR and that’ll. I didn’t receive anything after December 2019. Is anyone in the same boat? Or I need to call IRCC? Thank you!

Submission “IN PERSON” is not allowed. It has to be through courier. Canadian High Commission will not send a request if VFS was not accepting. Contact VFS again and they will send you instructions on next steps.
Hi, I have received the passport submission request (PPR) for my parents in India - but it looks like VFS global is not accepting the passports for stamping at their office as per https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/covid-19-updates .
Submission of passport upon receipt of passport request letter from IRCC (via post/courier only). Submission of passport in person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice.

Congratulations, when is your application receive date and what is your local VO?
I also noticed that you mentioned that your parents doesn't have marriage certificate, could you please tell me what you ended up submitting as I want to apply for my inlaws and they have married underage in 1984 and now they can't apply for one?
I would recommend doing it under Sponsorship and PGP.
The reason why I say that is I haven't got any response with ' Change of Contact Info' on 2 webforms even after a month.
Not sure if I am the only one who faced this issue.
Or, you could raise 2 webforms one in each category.
I got a ghost update too on my account. I'm unable to login to my account since teh afternoon, last when I checked it said "application/profile updated" and then changed to "submitted" automatically and then when i click into it.. it gives me bad gateway error
this happening 2-3 times when I tried logging in in the afternoon.
Any idea, what would be the reason?

Medical requested - Nov 2019 (Mom's medical passed in November and Dad had additional medical requests which lasted all the way until October and finally medical passsed status changed in October 2020, though suddenly last week it changed back to 'medical not needed, will let you know if required')
Today this ghost update.. I'm curious what the next steps would be, hope its some good news!!
First medical request was received in Nov 2019, then dad got furtherance and took until oct 2020 to submit everything, then on Nov 4th the my cic showed that medical passed as part of APPLICATION UPDATE Section.
Now everything is gone and it shows as below.
