Not sure. I applied on September 1 and my eligibility review started on December 1. I got the biometrics validity letter on December 1 as well. Eligibility is still under review. I was expecting their decision today. Not sure how much more time they're going to take.

wait summer as in, you were on holiday? or you took time off during school? If it was a scheduled break according to your school it won't matter at all.

Oh okay. I was expecting the final decision today but i thought i was the only one.

Summer breaks don’t necessarily count as academic sessions unless stated by your school.

PGWP approved today for 3 years.
Applied - 31st august. Inland.
Study permit expiry - 31st august.
November 30th - Background check changed to "Not applicable"
December 2nd - Eligibility started in the morning and approved in the evening.

Not received any email notifications.

I just checked my account today. It’s midnight and Final Decision says “Approved” December 3.
Applied August 24 with expired study permit and no biometrics.
Eligibility review December 1
Approved December 3.
I’m so happy! This thread have been helpful for my long days of waiting. Best of luck to all of us!

I am in the same situation like yours with expired permit. Applied on september 5th. Still waiting !!

I applied for pgwp on 28th august.
No updates till now,
My friends who applied on 31 august, 1 sept. And 4 sept., got their approval this morning.
I am very nervous
