Does CIC allow to extend the expiry date of COPR and Visa issued, due to Covid-19 or one has to travel before the visa expiry date ?

Can anyone help me answer this question please? Thank you

My parents got COPR in Nov 2020, and the visa is valid till Feb 2021, my parents are not comfortable travelling right now because of COVID-19. Any suggestions are welcome

@PS-BC Only CPC-M used to send SA approval letter included with PCC request. If your LVO is different expect separate PCC request.

Not many may have thought of this option.
You have to call CIC to get the reply.

My application was received June 27 and up to now only shows "Application Received" for both sponsor and PA. Application is in Mississauga. Anyone else in this position? The lack of progress is so frustrating.

I am June 24th applicant. The ECAS status changed to in process for both sponsor and principle applicant on November 6th, 2020. Still waiting for further activities.

Thanks but its Bio not PCC. Please correct. no additional document has been requested in my case . I am not sure that may be mistake

Hello everyone.. So my mother who is the principal applicant received her CoPR already (with virtual landing) but my father (dependent) received a PPR from Manila. He received request a day before his flight to Toronto (as tourist under reunification program) so he emailed immigration regarding his change of address. Now he's in Toronto and will send documents to Ottawa instead. My question is, shoudl he send Original Passport or just a photocopy since he doesnt need entry visa anyway? Thank you...

Do I need to be a representative to link my parents pr application? I got sponsorship approved and the RPRF request and paid the fees about two weeks ago. And got an email today that they started processing the application.

They usually ask you before issuing visas, like my application, I HAD TO confirm that we are ready to travel and got visas.
If you can not travel by Feb2021, they will have to redo PCC, Medicals, send back COPR for cancellation,... I mean more stuff to do.

what do you mean by sending COPR for cancellation ? what is the process there? I didnt know you have to do that

Hi All,

I have got 3 different statuses for the same application is this normal?

My ECAS status changed to "Decision Made" for "Permanent Residence Application Status." However, on the IRCC website, it still says, "Your Action is Required" on "Current Status." When I go inside the application details (check full application status link), it says, "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
