I am more worried as covid cases are increasing they are again going to slow down due to the low number of people working and also christmas is coming and there will be more vacations. I was hoping to get it before christmas but the way it is looking like now seems like they are not even looking at files of most of feb, march and april people.

IRCC's explanation is that they don't have enough staff to process existing applications in time, but they are fine with taking in record number of new applications.

I don't think anything will happen unless we voice our concern to IRCC. Calls and web forms won't do, rather tweet to IRCC and https://twitter.com/marcomendicino to speed up process for old applications.

Is FBI (USA) clearance having impact on the progress of Criminality check? because its been month now I have submitted my biometrics

I also suspect this! I’m FSW inland and I’ve travelled to the US about three times since I came to Canada. My GCMS note shows that info sharing partner is the US and they put it as ‘not urgent’.
I’m tired of waiting and I’m getting frustrated.
