Well that's unfortunate. If your nomination is not employer restricted you can apply for bridging work permit. If it is employer restricted you can use the work permit support letter you got with your nomination and you can ask your employer to help you to apply for work permit.
Guys i was just contemplating about my situation. When i have DM already, everything must be fine right? The only reason making me over think is the time it's taking. As for a few applicants they get copr the next day and for me it's been two weeks already. What are your thoughts

I have employer restriction. But I have applied for another WP in purpose to stay in Canada while no DM on my PR, which is open. It has extended my current to 4 months per mail from IRCC.
P.S. I'm saying that it is spousal WP because my motivation to get this WP based on my spouse's WP which is open.
