Dont worry, we all did that and got passport back with courier too. No one here did it in person.

Thank you for the response. I contacted the VAC in Istanbul. They confirmed that, contrary to the PPR email, they do not accept documents in person. All documents, passport included, should be sent via courier. The 30-day deadline is also waived.

I have a question guys, so how you would know if they extended your medical exam, are we suppose to receive a message or they’ll do that automatically without giving any notice?.

I received an email from the Canadian Embassy in Ankara, asking me to put the passport and the liabilities in the office personally, and with a warning not to sell it by mail, and when I called the office in Istanbul to make an appointment, they told me to deliver by mail, what should I do?
I have now sent the office an email with the embassy letter requesting a passport.
Please help

Check your GCkey and track your passport friends. My visa had been stumped yesterday and send to VFS. Hope you find such news, too. They have not sent an email yet.

I was facing the same dilemma. However, Visa application centers (VAC) in turkey do not let applicants attend personally to submit passports regardless of what's been stated in the IRCC passport request e-mail. They are, instead, advised to do the following

If you have a passport request letter, please send us the following documents by courier.

- Consent form (attached)
- Transmission payment receipt
- Courier payment receipt
- Your passport
- Letter print out
- 2 photos (50*70mm)
- The courier address, recipient name, and your contact information on a piece of paper. (including your e-mail address)

No, we haven't got any updates yet and that's why I've bought a flight ticket for my wife and she came to Turkey to be with me for now. We have decided to have a vacation for a month while waiting for the decision, so she is here now with me and still no update and still waiting for non-sense process time.

Any update on your interview?

I’m a May 2019 applicant and still didn’t receive anything. Apparently these ignorants in Ankara are putting me in a interview list and didn’t give me a date for it. Their system is totally unfair

Congratulations guys. So, I’m wondering you guys medical exam one year validity was expired when you sent your passport to the embassy or they renewed it for you?. Because, mine just passed the one year few days ago and my passport is still in the embassy and didn’t get any updates yet, so I’m wondering what they will do in this case. Thanks
