Any word on NDVO? My parents application is stuck at this center since they have done their medicals. No updates on anything in their file, anyone same situation?

same situation with my parents application too. One time case centre sent email that the file is with NDVO and another time they refer as file is in Ottawa. I don't know which one is correct. since Nov 17, 2019 there is no update on my parents medical result. I am unable to decide if I should call them here on visitor visa or wait for the process.

I sent a web form yesterday and called them today! The lady on the phone said we should have received it from mycic but she basically said the letter is requesting to prove my relationship to my parents! I had already sent them my birth certificate! Why are they asking for this again? She said to provide a voter card or school details?
is birth certificate not enough? She said she will send the letter in an email in 2 business days since we didn't receive anything.

When I applied, I provide birth certificate, school certificates and college certificates. just in case. I would say send them what they ask. If you do not have then explain the reason.

in visitor visa biometric is required or not?

they were issued visitor visa about 2-3 years ago and at that time biometrics was not required for it. Not sure whats the present status

Can anybody share their experience who parents were DM2 and after that they called their parent to Canada on visitor visa ?
I just wanted a gist of the timeline for COPR and processes for this scenario.

Hi all. When I applied to sponsor my mom I provided theee years of notices of assessment for myself and my spouse. The letter they sent clearly stated to send notices of assessment from CRA's My Account but my AOR which I received a couple of weeks ago mentions to send Option C if I did not do so already. Are there any who sent NOAs and got approved or is it strictly Option C?

When you submitted your application, date of application received in Ottawa

When you submitted your application, date of application received in Ottawa, as per tracking sheet it is 14th June, 2019 and LVO is New Delhi. LVO New Delhi is working with limited staff, it may take longer wait time then usual.

I am in a same situation as well. There was a document request in January 2020 and was submitted in 2 weeks. We received Pre-Arrival letter in Jun 2020 but there is no progress since then.

I'm May 9 applicant and receive SA letter about two weeks ago and my file was transferred to Ankara.
I wonder if anyone whose PR application is being processed in Ankara have heard any update recently? are they working at all?
The Ankara's website says that due to Covid they only process certain types of applications and PGP sponsorship is not one of them...
