I too saw "Application/profile updated" and clicked to enter to see no updates. Now, I tired to login again after seeing your post but I'm unable to login at all.

Seems like it. We can’t all be getting a genuine update at the same time. So frustrating.

I really need your help.I applied express entry on june 7 my work permit got expire on oct 18 . when i applied my express entry file i thought i dont need any extension because i m on applied status now i am out of status .I still didnt get any email regarding my PR. What should i do now ?

You can apply BOWP.
I am in a similar situation, wp expiry Feb 2020. Planning to apply BOWP in a couple of weeks.
In your case, after you apply you should be in implied status provided you meet the conditions for applying BOWP.

Unfortunately you can’t apply BOWP now as you are already out of status..you could have applied before October 18th

You can apply BOWP.
I am in a similar situation, wp expiry Feb 2020. Planning to apply BOWP in a couple of weeks.
In your case, after you apply you should be in implied status provided you meet the conditions for applying BOWP.

• live in Canada (Quebec not included)
• have a valid work permit that expires in 4 months or less
• be the principal applicant on your permanent residence application
• have submitted a complete application for permanent residence and passed the completeness check
• have your acknowledgement of receipt letter
  • we send this letter to your account after we get your permanent residence application
