Very normal.questions like some travel dates, cross checking facts etc. The person was very polite and precise with his questions.

My BEST guess they are [NDVO] is trying to take interviews over the telephones, no more physical attendance required due to Covid-19. I think it's a very good time saving even less expensive thing

1st she hires a translator= Rs 2000, then she prepares for interview; means PRINT more pics+ records, then she hires a cab= Rs 9 to 10,000-- 2 way whole day+bit of night to NDVO. I suggest they should permanently switch to telephone interviews

Right now they r doing phone interviews, so they don't really inform u beforehand. They just call u and ask u if it is a good tym for u to talk. And that is it. So u should always be prepared.

They wont, it will be surprise call. Only in-person interviews are informed before

If you have mentioned in your app the preferred option for your interview language they will make sure the agent who is calling can speak that language or they will have translator next to them. We selected Hindi and the guy spoke to my wife in Hindi.
