Birth Certificate Confusion;
Is it ok to submit 'Certificate of Birth Certificate' issued by Consulate General of India in Toronto based on information on Passport?
I do have original birth certificate as well but it is in India and right now I'm in Canada and my whole family is here.
Is it ok to submit one which is issued by embassy or should I submit original ?? Any negative impact of certificate issued by embassy?

one of my friend was in similar situation as yours....he submitted certificate issued by consulate in Toronto and his file was returned. IRCC said they can't take it because its issued based on Passport. My friend then submitted file again with secondary school record which has birth date on it and they accepted it.

I do have my Grade 10 result card from CBSE. Is it ok if I submit that one ?

does it have your birth date and your father name on it (even if its behind your name should work). or school leaving certificate will work too if it has those two info on it
