Well doctor will give you one eMedical sheet which you can upload thru webform and its totally up to you but doctor will upload medical report to immigration once you done all the medical requirements and they get all the result..

I did upfront medical and submitted my files through webform last thrusday but never got an email back saying they received it. is this normal?

Me too. Submitted online on Friday with an upfront medical. Don't think a reply is normal until they have actually opened your file. Good luck.

It takes about 5 to 10 business days to reply to Web forms, Having received webforms does not guarantee PASS, they just forwarded to responsible department. it makes sure that they don't send you MR yet if an agent pick your file in between. Moreover, if an agent pick your file, they will mark as PASS.

For automated updates, the actual day starts once Doctor has submitted the report to Ottawa, it takes about month to automatically update GCKEY as PASS now. My doc submitted on 15th Sep, i did medical on 10th Sep, still waiting to PASS
