After that no update till now. Not even Medical request.

Please advise is it normal?

For upfront medicine you need only your passport (same for your dependants). The IMM1017 is needed when you do not-upfront.
I would suggest to wait from Medical Request mail from IRCC with attached IMM1017 forrm

Thanks!! I've made a reservation on Sept.24 for the medical test, it would be the best if I can get MR before that, otherwise I'll do the upfront one.

You should do it if you are inland. You need passport and work permit (for UCI number ) , and health card if you have one. it is not free

no it is not if ur application is over 1 year. so it doesn't expire before PR

Hi guys! I just want to share that my profile was updated today saying that my application is approved! thank God! the long wait is over.

My document status was updated with a COPR expiring on 11/11/20, waiting for the official email for the next steps.

Just hang in there! no need to stress over waiting because it will eventually come. There were no updates on my application since November 2019 and suddenly, the approval.

Hi all,
I don't want to be pessimist but honestly pretoria visa office are the worst immigration office outside canada. I've known people whose processing time ended since feb 2020 and are still waiting for copr. We reached 97% , and we're still waiting for an update for upfront medical sent on July 28.
