No because I applied outland and my work visa already expired a long time ago. So I am currently a visitor in Canada. So yeah, that's why getting this residency is important.. so I could work :/
The agent told me that is the reason why he can't tell me what the final decision is. Maybe they are legally not allowed to tell us if we are approved until COPR is issued.
Hmmm. I am pretty sure I was told my application was approved, and it says so in the notes too. And the new section CoPR has appeared. I really don't know haha
I think possibly for those who live in the countries where VFS offices are reopened and the cases are not increasing? But yea. It's unlikely outlanders would have any news this year
It would be idiotic of Canada to permit international immigration under such harsh Covid situation.
The wait's only gonna get longer from here, even if CoPR arrives.
I don't mind waiting until next year. Canada takes the COVID-19 pandemic really seriously and I am glad that they have been doing great about that. If the government keeps allowing people from around the world to travel to Canada freely, it would be another version of the U.S. and Europe now. Be patient please since the current situation is a rational reaction from the authority and all we can do is staying safe and healthy until it's actually safe to travel. I am pretty sure that I don't want to go to Canada and expose myself to a high risk of being unemployed and a significant possibility of getting contracted with COVID-19 without any insurance coverage.
Hi,
I submitted a web form and got the following response. I want to understand what does the line "Background verifications are currently valid" means? Does it include all of eligibility, security, criminality or any 1 or 2 of them?
PNP outland, Dec 13 2019 - AOR. No news since then
