29 july 2020 Initiation of Police Verification Request(s) for your PCC Application File (No. CAV......)
Verification done on 4th aug 2020 police visit my home.
but status is still showing
“PCC application is under review at Passport Seva Kendra"
Its been more than 1 week . What should i do now?

You need to go through BLS only, BLS is opened for both Postal and Walkins

Hi - for the walkin, do we have to buy and carry a return envelope to bls, or can we collect our pcc from bls itself?

If Local police have submitted then it has to come from SP/commissionarate office

Guys, please help me with your experience in this case...

In my case, India passport website shows status as "PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office" for last 10 days however local police station says, they DID NOT receive any request for verification on my name.

Does anyone face this situation ? What can be done in this case ?

22-Jun​	PCC aplication sent to BLS Brampton
23-Jun​	PCC application reached BLS Brampton ( as per purolator)
21-Jul​	Application under process BLS ( as per BLS Tracking)
21-Jul​	Application in transit to CGI ( as per BLS tracking)
22-Jul​	Processing at Consulate General ( as per BLS tracking)
24-Jul​	PCC application is under review at PSK ( as per Passport Seva tracking)
24-Jul​	PCC initiated ( Email from Passport Admin)
25-Jul​	Verification Done by Local Police
28-Jul​	PCC needs to be collected from the Regional Passport Office (as per Passport Seva tracking)
7-Aug​	PCC granted (as per Passport Seva Tracking)
11-Aug​	PCC Printed (as per Passport Seva Tracking)

I'll post the final timeline once I have the PCC in my hand.

I finally received my PCC today.

June 17, 2020	PCC aplication sent to BLS Ottawa
June 18, 2020	PCC application reached BLS Ottawa according to courier company
July 2, 2020	Application under process BLS
July 3, 2020	Additional Doc Request (asked me to change purpose of pcc to "immigration purposes other than citizenship")
July 6, 2020	Additional Docs Submitted same day Application in transit to consulate
July 7, 2020	PCC application is under review at PSK
July 9, 2020	PCC initiated (Email from Passport Admin)
July 30, 2020	Police visited home (finally after begging them to come, they made a thousand excuses work load, appl not received etc.)
August 5, 2020	PCC needs to be collected from RPO
August 10, 2020	PCC Printed + PCC in transit from Consulate to BLS + Pcc dispatched + PCC Airway number
August 11, 2020	Delivered to my home

In my case the police made many excuses like they have 3000 files to process and they have crazy work load and what not. They even said multiple times application not received.

Also guys, The PCC I got is a letter size page with Consulate stamp and Indian govt header saying:

"My Name" d/o my father's name holder of Indian passport "my passport number" has no adverse information which would render "my name" ineligible for immigration purposes other than citizenship to Canada." Then at the bottom is signed by the consulate.

Can someone confirm if this the what they got. Thanks

Got My wife's and my PCC today, have to send it to IRCC through webform,
Should I create 2 webform and send individually for me and my wife and create only 1 and do the pdf merge for both the PCC?

Application sent to BLS Brampton - 16-June

I think lockdown has made the things very slow and difficult, if you don't get your PCC by this month-end, submit your documents without PCC by attaching the LOE in Police certificate - India section.

Where do you get these breakdown of status. I have searched in the Pass Portal India and getting the below Status since long time.

I have got an email on Jul 24, Police Verification Request has been sent to the Police department .

Current Status in Portal since then, PCC application is under review at Passport Seva Kendra

Please help if I'm missing something here.
