I tried so many times and the last time I sent them email was last week and they replied to me:


Dear Applicant,


You have reached the Migration Section of the Canadian Embassy in Turkey. Please note that due to the current worldwide pandemic and the current travel restrictions to Canada, our office is only providing essential services. We appreciate your patience as we monitor a fluid situation in regard to travel to Canada.
If you have applied for permanent residence to Canada (family sponsorship, skill worker, etc.) note that your application is on hold until further notice.
We appreciate your patience in this regard.

I am using the CAS to track my application. Do you guys think linking the application at this stage (PPR) will give me more insight?

I linked my application to GCKey in November, absolutely useless for me so far. the only thing that has changed since then is the 12 months percentage bar.

we got our pre-arrival on July 1st. I new a few others here who also did.

This is so frustrating! There is a huge conflict between visa office and the IRCC. On one hand, IRCC is advising that they are processing PR applications to an extent, on the other hand, VO is advising that, PR is on hold until further notice.

I understand :/ Processing times start after the IRCC starts processing the application right? It’s not after AOR...

Last week After raising an IRCC web form they told me

Please advise if you had received a passport request letter and submitted your husband’s passport to the visa application centre (VAC).

And after I said we did submit the passport. They said,

The passport will be returned back via the VAC office as soon as visa issuance is complete.

i applied for TRV for my wife June 10 . she lives in jordan and she has PR in process in jordan amman VO . dont know why her TRV was transferred to ANKRA for processing no AMMAN .since june 10 in process no news .
AMMAN VO estimated processing time for TRV is 8 days only and ankra 80days . is there any way i can ask to transfer her Trv to amman VO ?

TRV PROCESS by Amman or Ankra VO has nth to do with VAC . VAC's are third parties. VO's are processing trvs and when they approve it they ask to mail your passport by courier directly to the consulates

This is more effective than e-mailing the embassy. That’s how I was able to get a natural response.
