Hopefully, soon they finalize your application now that they requested these documents.
I'm still waiting for biometrics letter, and the VAC is still closed back home.

Send a web form stating you want to add your spouse. They'll reply with what documents they need.

You have to send a webform to IRCC informing your marital status change. You could attach the following documents with the webform.

• imm0008enu_2d
• imm5406e - principal applicant
• imm5406e - spouse
• imm5669e - principal applicant
• imm5669e - spouse
• Letter of explanation
• Spouse's - Open Work Permit (if there is any)
• Spouse's - Passport
• Wedding pictures

my agent said they are working on 2018 files. Due to covid 19, process is slow. Soon they will give results.
