When did they request for medical?

March 12. Due to pandemic i did it on June 3

Hello eveyone,
I had applied for my SOWP visa on march 13. I haven't yet received any update on that. But, I read news where the Canadian government has lifted the exemption from immediate family members. My husband is an international student.

The new update says, those looking to enter Canada to be with immediate family who are temporary residents are recommended to show copies of their family member’s work permit, study permit, temporary resident permit or visitor’s record, as well as proof of their relationship to the family member, and written authorization from IRCC.

I do not have a visa yet. But, can I apply for this. If yes, what is the approach?

Hi. I applied last year in June. MP checked last week the updates on my file thy saying that sponsor's eligibility passed Dec last year and applicant eligibility passed this march and criminality still outstanding. Any idea how long time thay gona take ..????

They take approximately 12 months but due to Covid-19 every case taking longer.Have u got any mail for medical and biometric instructions?

If spouse lands in Canads on TRV/ ETA , could a request be made to transfer file processing from outland to inland office?

No, the app stays as outland and also at the VO that it was transfered to.

I'm in the same boat. My application was received on March 9th, 2020 but I have not received any acknowledgement as of yet

Have you by any chance applied for TRV and received it ?. Would like to know how it would work amidst covid-19.

I am planning to apply for TRV while the spousal sponsorship is still in process (Started in Nov-19 and still in progress)

Last I heard from Singapore VO was in March 12th, 2020. They sent me AOR2. I am still waiting for my medical.
