Hi Guys,
Last Friday I called IRcC to check the status of my application. The agent said :
Eligibility passed
Criminality passed
Security in progress which one week ago was not initiated.
However, I still have not received any updates nor any emails.

how long will it take for security to be approved after getting in progress.
Also, Has anyone had this in progress status for their security?

Medical passed: 19 December
Biometric request: 19 December
Biometric did: 20 December
GU 1: 20 Dec
GU 2: Feb end (criminality passed)
GU 3: April end (Security and eligibility passed)
Approval: June 8 (No call from immigration direct approval in account)
Approval via CIC account. Approval letter in CIC account (GCKey account).

Primary CPC: Edmonton
Secondary CPC: Ottowa
Approval mail from Winnipeg

My application is CEC inland.

I'm a silent listener to this forum and I have learned so much from this forum. Everyone shared their experience from beginning to end. So I thought it's my time to give back to the community.

I had 4 jobs in one year all in the same NOC Code. I started counting hours since the next day I applied for PGWP till the day before ITA. I never submitted GCMS notes so I don't know in-depth of my application but I was scared of 4 job experiences. But honestly, if you are honest about your work and all your background and write LOE for all the work and your travel everything will be fine. I had several travel around the world but nowhere for more than 3 weeks.

Those who have received the COPR .... congratulations and those who are waiting, I can understand your pressure and impatience. I had the same but all you can do is wait and trust me I'm not the person who wants to wait and my application took 3 days more than 6 months. I want all the work done as soon as possible. But believe me, it's all worth to wait.

I quick question what documents do I have to send with the letter and pictures? and where to send the documents? If someone can help me here that would be awesome.

And trust me if you are honest in your application and you have fulfilled the requirements then there is a very high chance that you will get what u desire.

Received COPR on 6th June via email received around 12:15 PM (Yes got email on Saturday isn't that strange ?)
Need to send 2 photos to Edmonton office that's where my file was processed

Did u get copr in gc key account or on email linked to EE account ?

Hey buddy, no one can answer it with an exact timeline as each application is different, but in my case, it happened really fast. When my Additional document requirement changed to NA then I called IRCC to ask what is the update in my application, they told me everything is valid in your profile. So, I'm assuming it will be quick for most of the people. I know a lot of people may disagree but as I said every case is different and you can only wait for updates. There is always an option to drop a webform and wait for it as now you don't wai for huge update in profile instead you wait for small response from IRCC. All the best.

your aor is same as mine and i still haven't got it. i really should call them. have u raised webform before you call them???
my webform showing nothing has been valid just in progress.
and should i call iRCC call center?? is that right???

Yes you should give them a call that will speed up the process, that's what i observed,

They dont reply on web form properly like on call. i got reply for webform after i called them.

It showed application updated
Application approved as well as got COPR in my cic account Bt did not receive email yet does anyone know how long to get email after this

One more question, what did you fill in the blank of "Date you became a permanent resident"? Did you use the date as shown on the COPR document?

yes, exactly the same. My AOR is 23 Dec 2019 and stream: BC PNP FSW inland. I also had the update on June 4th.

Anyone has any theories on why they might delay PR for December AOR Inland LMIA Work Permit based EE FSW candidates who isn’t PNP or CEC? Is it just that the number of such candidates is very low (that’s what I could see from my immi tracker website), that we don’t have many of them in this forum?

GC Key account was updated on 5th, but they send me COPR in email on 6th June

Hang in there mate it took some of us 5 days (including the weekends) because some offices donot operate all 7 days. Congratulations and all the best!

Got my COPR same day
