I am waiting for AIP and DM ... SA approved on 24th December 2019 to be completed on 31st May of one year

Hi there I applied on May 28 2019 It’s going to be almost one year and today I called ircc just want to know the process and they said I am not eligible yet to sponsor my husband and the eligibility reviewing is still in process
I don’t understand what they were doing since May 2019
They said it can take more time because of this covid even it can take 6 more months I so stressed

my application applied on may 31 2019 .. sponsor approved 24 dec .. am waiting for aip nd dm .almost 5 months done after 24 december

Guys bad news, they have stopped processing new applications, possibly for years! They dont want to touch paper sent to them.
They intend to implement paperless apps, but this can take years.

They have stopped non-essential visitor visas.. which makes sense since non-essential visitors are not allowed in anyway..

Right, so the process is now more difficult and slower, for sure.

But gotta be careful with saying in this forum that they have full-blown stopped (which is not true). A lot of people rely on these treads to get their information.
