Anyone who submitted the last set of documents as requested by CIC Mississauga (VoterID Card, AADHAR card, etc) in Feb/Mar and got any communication back as its been 3 months now, I know pandemic have slowed down or stopped the process of purpose of this message to see if things have resumed.....and how much I can further expect to before any status update
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone knows which Ontario Ministry CIC reaches out to for SSC check. My sponsor eligibility has been in process since mid-January, and there hasn't been any update since. I requested ATIP notes, and it shows they sent province a letter for it, with the deadline set for mid-February. I contacted CIC and they said nothing can be done. So I contacted my MPP, and he said he can help look into it from provinces end, but asked which MInistry the request falls under. Does anyone know?

This is so unfair. Like people are waiting for these things like for so long. Parents are stuck in India and they are not processing files once this is over they going to invite more files and this will be backlogged to extreame
What’s wrong with you ? I seriously suggest you google “ People lost because of Covid “, the result will be people who passed because of the pandemic. Seriously, people seriously have to think of the collective good of the population, versus just THEMSELVES. Be thankful your parent got picked out of the pool, be thankful they got their COPR . You chose to immigrate
Happy to share that my parents status in myCIC has been changed to APPROVED at about 5:15pm today. They are currently in Canada on Visitor Visas.
PPR - 16 March
Passport delivered to Ottawa - 19 March
Approved in myCIC - 12 May

Hi Manish , isn't the reason that NDVO currently is not working , that's why our applications are stuck in "application received" status. I am in Edmonton also.Lets connect
My mom received her PR visa in February but has not yet landed. She has a ticket for May 31st to land at Pearson Airport in Toronto:
If anyone's parent has landed recently please help with these questions:
1- Is OHIP's three months waiting period waived? It is not very clear on their website.
2- Is landing's interview at airports still happening?
3- Does anyone here have any experience with the new required app by border agency "ArriveCAN"?
If you have any kind of experience for landing during COVID19, please share. Thanks much!
are you sure she will be able to fly?
my mom’s flight (aircanada) supposed to be in June but it got cancelled. So make sure the flight is still on schedule.

I have a cic online account, and was asked to provide the additional documents for my application. Stupid me. I was not aware that I needed to submit the additional document via the online account. I have only submitted the documents to the provided email address within the time frame. When I found that I needed to submit the form through the online account, it was already too late. My question is whether the Immigration Office will still take my additional documents submitted through email as a part of their consideration? Thank you!
Hi there, I did the same thing used the email address they provided to me but I also mailed the hard copy. Only to find out months later that they were still asking for the docs. I then figured out how to go online and submitted them via the website. They also had a link there for a 'case specific' enquiry so I emailed them and showed the email I had sent with the date stamp on it and explained what happened. I got an email back a few days later saying they had received the documents. Maybe try to do that. I dont know why they give you that email address in the letter if its not going through it looks like it was returned as undeliverable
