Thank you Logan. I think among all options this is the best option for me. i do have the nomination letter, job approval letter and job offer. I still have half a year left until my currrent work permit expires - i am not sure if I should apply the closed work permit right away or wait for a little bit? I did request GCMC notes couple weeks ago. IRCC account shows I am 54% progress but so far I have not heard anything after the PAL last Nov and no medical request what so ever.

I am wondering what could be the reason why I haven't received any update from my application yet. When I called CIC last month they have informed me that they are still working on my security check. Kindly see my timeline below

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 5, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 22, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on May 22, 2019.
4. We sent you medical instructions on September 25, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.
6. We sent you correspondence on November 8, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required

I have passed the medical exam and complied with their correspondence. The last time I checked my application is on 66% complete.

Hoping to get my PR soon.

since you got a file number, Nomination expire date doesn't matter. and there's no expre date on work permit support letter from BC (idk other provinces and federal rules about expire the document)

Thanks.what i mean is for applying for the work permit. just like my case, my support letter expired already last year. what if i plan to apply for work visa?can i used that expired support letter too? does the ecf (employer compliance fee) expires too or one-time use only? my employer paid ecf last year.

my nomination is from sk. and my work permit support letter expired on august last year, same as my PNP certificate.

you can ask SK gov re issue your work permit support letter. try it!

My AOR and PAL dates are the same as yours, haven't heard from them since MP either ...

If you are inland then it will appear soon. For outland will take bit time to open the vfs and embassy. Would you mind to share your timeline?
