Myself and a bunch of people on this site applied within the last ten days of November and no update. I was surprised you got the biometrics update. Did you apply for biometrics within Canada?

Yes, everything within Canada. I am in Ottawa and originally from Germany. So not sure whether that made a difference but I really have no clue why mine got processed so fast.

You confirmed my suspicion then. I guess they are running through the in-canada biometrics submission and processing application from there.

I didn't submit a biometric as I have a valid one for the next 7 years.

I haven't seen anyone else on this thread but people from the PGWP threads who submitted in-canada biometrics have had correspondence emails and update of their account.

Yeah, I did. I probably should have applied a month earlier than I did. Only needed to submit and defend a thesis which I am done with now. The processing time was 47 days two weeks before I applied so I relaxed a unfortunately.

Just wanted to let you guys know that my friend who applied on December 6 got mail today that his application was approved and the doc has been dispatched. He already had his biometric done a year ago. That's a bit of relief from the CIC! Don't lose hope guys!

It's weird that applications from December are getting approved before the ones who've applied in November. Must be something to do with biometric requirements for those applied in December.

Applied on the 11th of December, got approved today. No email, nothing, just checked cause someone on the group applied on 12/12 and got theirs

I have a job offer for when I graduate and without having valid SP I won’t be able to apply for PGWP, I’m gonaa lose my job offer. Pity!

I applied on November 23rd and still no reply. I totally don't understand. This is incredible. So much frustration and confusion for me .

Yeah, it is annoying. I have had to stop working this month cause I was done school. I also had a physician test done today that I had to pay out of pocket for.

It's very annoying.
