my husband just got PPR.
Our timeline is:
Application received: May 27th, 2019
AOR 1: August 14th, 2019
Sponsor approval: August 15th, 2019
Medical passed: August 26th, 2019
Moved to VO office Ankara: August 27th, 2019
Bio metrics passed: September 2nd, 2019
PPR: March 16th, 2020

Hope you all get replies soon!
Does anyone know if those who get approved are able to come to Canada now? Or are they not doing any landing services in the airport because of COVID-19?

Congratulations! My wife also got a passport request on March 12th and now we are waiting to receive the passport back.

Our timeline is:

Medical passed: July 13th, 2019
Moved to VO office Ankara: July 19th, 2019
PPR: March 12th, 2020
Counterfoil Doc: March 23, 2020

We have the same concern about flying to land, whether it will be allowed or safe enough to fly during this time.

Our counterfoil document (I'm guessing this is the visa stamp on passport) is expiring on July 11, 2020 and I'm worried that we won't be able to fly by that time. What is the procedure in this case? Should we message them via Case Specific Enquiry (CSE)?

Hello everyone,

I got passport request and photos last March 3, I mailed to VAC Manila within the week, following week they sent my package back to me due to incorrect photo format. I have not resent yet as all Photo laboratories have been temp closed due to ongoing lockdown. I've sent them an email regarding the situation but I have not received any reply, also, I've tried contacting the hotline but i could not go through. Any advice on this? Do you think VAC manila is closed also?

Your COPR will only be valid until your medicals are valid. I'm in similar situation. Passport has been released but is being held up due to lockdown and my COPR expires on July 29, 2020, 1 year from when i did my medical. So hope I can travel before then if not it's a whole different procedure

Brutalll so we gotta wait til virus situation dies down, then have to do medicals again. Then continue waiting for ppr... I hope my partners visitor visa doesn't expire by then.

I got prearrival on Jan 28th Lvo. I don't think they're doing anything in London til virus goes away.

My application has 14 days left before it ticks over a year.

I don’t know any exact details but did read of someone receiving COPR from London yesterday so they are still functioning in some capacity.
