Yes it mentions bg check going on, if they need any thing it will be requested other wise decision will be made. This is scary of mississauga, it ask for every thing in one go and long silence. What if we miss any thing and..... Other lvo communicating and asking docs one by one.. Our vo is not answering to queries and burden of understanding is on us from what ever available to us...

Hi guys ,

My application is stuck in "we are processing your background check". Both sponsor & PA is in progress since Nov 28. Not sure whats going on . Usually background checks are done in the last but in my case even sponsor is not approved yet. This background check for IP1 or IP2? I am confused!

myCIC is for PR application. background check message in myCIC is for PA and dependent.

Hi All
Quick question- I sponsored my parents who have been in Canada since 2016 on super visa. Medicals and all doc completed early dec 2019 but no biometrics request at all. Yesterday we received a letter for mother only to do an RCMP fingerprinting to be sent in 30 days. Is this normal that they didn't ask for my father? Also how come no biometrics?

Give it a few days and you will be asked for your father.

Hi

I need your advice. I applied for my parents PR. My both sponsorship and PA applications are“IN PROCESS” since January 25. In the beginning of January I was falsely accused by someone and have some alleged charges against me. I have been to the court and with the help of my lawyer, crown agreed to withdraw all the charges on the condition of doing some course but that will take 2 months So I have alleged charges against me for 2 months.

Just wondering do police send any report to CIC about charges or they only send when the person is Convicted. P.S I am alleged to commit but not convicted. Is this the reason my file is still in process? I called CIC and they said they are still working on sponsorship and there is no note on the file which she can tell me.

Do anyone have any idea about this or know anyone who has been through this?

You are supposed to be advising CIC of any changes in your profile since you submitted. Looks much better if you are upfront versus them finding out.

I made a req through passport seva and they said police man will come home to validate. They have come and gone (it has been a week) but no PCC call is made to my parents.
