Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I am wondering if anyone here has information about 2020 sponsorship application dates? I don't want to miss out on that as I want to sponsor my parents this year. I would really appreciate if you can guide me how I can be on top of that... Thanks a lot

Keep an eye on IRCC website ( https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...sponsorship/sponsor-parents-grandparents.html) and follow them on Twitter. No promised dates as of now.

Hi we applied for PGP 2019. We were asked to submit parents marriage certificate, if not available anything supporting document proves the relation between primary applicant (father) and dependent (mother). They gave us 30 days. We submitted an affidavit declaring they are married, notarized by a lawyer in India. Also submitted their India passports where its mentioned spousal name (each other). For us it took little over 30 days to get actual marriage certificate, so we submitted supporting documents with in 30 days. After 30th day, we submitted actual marriage certificate also.
Yesterday our application got returned, saying incomplete application. Not sure if we can apply for review?

This is why it is imperative to let IRCC know when there is a delay of anything. When they gave you 30 days to submit the document, did you let them know that it's taking longer (also this was one of the must have document, how did you sent the application in the first place).

Put all the missing doc and double check the whole application and re-send the app.

Hi, My parents gave their medical exam on 1st Feb, how do I know if they passed, how long it will take to reflect on MyCic.

Sent CV, Travel form, Passport all pages, Birth certificate on 5th Feb.

you submitted birth certificate becuase cic specifically asked for it or it comes under country specific requirements?

I guess he did not mention EXTENDED TIME WHILE WAITING FOR ACTUAL REQUIRED DOCS. Ircc thought he was unable to obtain required docs and sent back. I mean explanation letter was not provided

SCI is the private courier company for IRCC. SO it should be good.

I'm sorry you are going through this, it can be rough. My parents tried to sponsor my grandparents and their application was rejected three years ago because the payment form wasn't filled out correctly. I would try calling IRCC but I'm not sure there is any forum for appealing. They are suggesting you reapply this year if and when they reopen the process.

For me i got the PPR in a week after the DM status was changed.

Mine was with Mississauga office and it took 5 days to get the ppr.

Hi Everyone,

I submitted the application in June and was received in Ottawa on Jun 24. IRCC requested to fill IMM 5406 in October and submitted via email on October 31.

Since then I haven't received any communication from IRCC and not I have received any AOR. Is this normal? is anyone else in the same situation?

She really nervous yesterday her bp was high and never get low even take medicine already .. the doctor says do cardio because her heart beat was palpitating very fast ..

Give her drumstick leaves juice or soup. her people will normalize.
