Hello there.
It's been 20days since I received the sponsorship approval letter, when I will be receiving medical or bio for my parents I was checking the link, people got bio before the approval letter.
it is depend on which local VO assign. for New Delhi VO as soon as NDVO start In process they will request PCC via email. (note: Your PR file ecas status will revert back from In process to Appl received and wait for NDVO start In process your PR application)
Received biometric request today. Is it normal to have sponsor's address on letter rather than principal applicant's home country Address? @robertp@YULIA-2016 @serious_cheese
I was approved as a sponsor on Oct. 16th (so far, I did not receive the confirmation letter, I called CIC last week, and they confirmed that the letter was emailed on Oct. 16th in a bulk email message to quite a few applicants, the agent said due to the bulk message there might be some error that's why I didn't receive the letter, they said that they have sent a message to resend me the letter).
I received my parents' medical and biometrics requests towards the end of Oct., and they cleared both on Dec. 27th.
I have a quick question - at what stage the Review of eligibility status changes? on my CIC it's still showing - "Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

Can someone please share your experience with Canada post
I have sent passport for stamping and passports reached Ottawa Canada post processing plant but still online tracking status is showing in transit and not updating to delivered.
I am in touch with Canada post they have no answers as of now
Anyone in same boat???
Yours should be around the corner because mine just changed to "In process" either today or yesterday. It was under "Application Received" for the longest time.
Hi @YULIA-2016@robertp , please update my file
On Tracker line 315 Preet_kaur
Additional Documents requested on September 17, 2019 - Sponsor's Father's Death Certificate
Received Biometrics request for both PA & Dependent on Feb. 04, 2020
The officer demanded Police certificates for India ad Canada. My mother stayed with us for more than 6 months. But now she is in India now. Is there any way i can get Police clearance Certificate from India for Canada.
And they need Criminal Record Check based on fingerprints. Is there anyway that this can be done in India or she has to come back here to get all this documents? Please suggest. She's in Punjab, India right now.
Thanks
You seem to know the process pretty well. The London VO asked for my parents "Original" Nikah Nama (marriage certificate)from Bangladesh. My parents got married in 1976 and have a copy of their English "Nikah Nama" from 1976. It is almost impossible to get another copy of this document because they do not even live in Bangladesh anymore.
Has anyone else had issue getting original marriage certificates for parents ? What did they do?
Any help would be appreciated because I am a little stressed.
