I have submitted application for my parents on 19th June 2019.
Got an email from CIC on 27th Nov 2019 saying "Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019". I am waiting for next response from CIC. Will it be PCC and Medical request or there will be an email regarding evaluation of finances of sponsors? When is the next response expected based on my application timelines?
Actually I am planning to bring my mother only to Canada this month for next 5 months. She is the secondary applicant. I hope we can send medical and PPR separately since my mother will be in Canada and father will be in India.
Received biometric request today. Is it normal to have sponsor's address on letter rather than principal applicant's home country Address? @robertp@YULIA-2016 @serious_cheese
Ecas status changed either today or yesterday to "In Process".
Application sent: June 12, 2019
AOR: October 11, 2019
My CIC account doesn't show any further updates though. Biometrics are valid until 2026 so does that mean I should be expecting medicals request soon? Do you guys know how long it normally takes to receive the request?
@ZOYAMAN13 So today my wife received bio metric request finally for her parents.
To all the people who are stuck in process for SA decision you have to some how poke the CIC agent as well as the province. In my wife case she called IRCC agent first and agent confirmed thet file is waiting for letter from province. Then my wife called Ministry of children and social services talked to a representative and explained the situation. agent took her information but never called back. two days later my wife called ministry again and talked so thet told her that letter was sent from the province on XX date and they will not resend the letter until IRCC send them a formal request again to resend it. My wife then called IRCC agent and told him that the letter was already sent by province on XX date. he took note of it. then the next day my wife called the IRCC agent and agent confirmed that they have received the letter on XX date there was some system glitch thats why it was not showing but now they have received letter and the file has gone to background check. 2 weeks the bio metric request came which means DM for SA.
Long story short, please poke them otherwise they will sleep

Thanks SAM. Another question if you don't mind: The VAC folks are adamant that the biometrics are sent to Abu Dhabi and not London and PR applications will be processed in Abu Dhabi although I received SA approval letter saying that the file was being sent to London VO. Any idea where the applications are actually processed? Thanks
They are processed in London. Send webform Query, attach screenshots of submitted biometric and enquire about reception of biometric results by London office. They will let you know.
My parents don’t have last name on their passports. I used their given name in the last on the forms and left given name blank. So the bio letter came as last name with their name and given name blank.
On the biometrics appointment, i think the agent used same name in both given and last names (may be both fields were required or he just did not notice)
Now on the sponsor approval letter It says the same name twice. Like P Singh P Singh and also under my cic it has changed to same name twice.
I believe they will issue the PR card like that now.
Is there anything I can do about it or no?
Should I inform IRCC about this through webform?
Please advise!!
