I think NDVO is severely understaffed.
The reason I say so is because when I submitted web-form, the website said that I would receive a reply in 28 working days.

There has been many updates today from NDVO. So, I think they are moving but slow. But at least they are moving. Someone with May 27th application submission got DM today.

My lawyer received today an email requesting for my parents to submit their valid passports and 2 new passport photos.

Guess it is almost done.

Is this called a PPR?

You just need to request it through the NSO office. It can be ordered online and takes about a week to 10 days to arrive. Simple process.

I feel locals are working on the files, as a local government job. Although I received the confirmation through the web form that they have received the biometrics around 2 weeks ago however my detailed status shows fingerprints not received. I called IRCC, the agent confirmed that they have received the bio. It seems that local agents can access the files however just to cut down on their calls they say cant respond to applications being processed out of Canada.



I am waiting for DM from NDVO from Dec 19.

My application was received in Ottawa office on June 13, 2019. And I received my application number on October 11th, 2019.
=> Could anyone please tell me the next procedure ?

Also, I was following a tracker, where in E-Case status some applications say - In process / Decision made.
=> Does it mean CIC sends you another email if your application is in process ?
=> Also, when it says Decision made, is it a guaranteed PR ?
