I never got any communication regarding transfer of file to NDVO. So, I am assuming the file is still being processed at CPC-Mississauga

you have new In process date for PR application ( Jan. 15 2020) is from NDVO.

Rob Reeves, what is a ghost update and when was your application received

You won't receive any email notifications but when you check your MyCIC, under the message section it will state "Application Updated" and then when you click on it, it will show no change and go back to "Read" afterwards. Basically, they way i understand it is that they update your file at their end and then it will show on your account the next day.

Cheers mate, its a long and frustrating process as there are more complicated applications that sometimes progress quicker but ultimately, i think its the luck of the draw as to who is overseeing your application. Best of luck to you and your family and if you have any other questions as to my progress, please don't hesitate to ask.
I see you're ex-military which is awesome but fingers crossed that doesn't hold up the background check side. One of my mates here is from Wales and was in the navy and his PR application took a LONG time because of the additional checks that had to be made in all the countries he toured. Fingers crossed for you mate!

Would you share your experience in terms of waiting times with your medicals? We did medicals on Nov 8 and further medical testing on December 5. It still says we are reviewing the results of your medical exam. How long did you have to wait before you got the medical surveillance undertaking letter? Did the tatus change to "medicals passed?" I am sorry for asking but it has been quite nerve racking.

Just this month status changed from received to in process, is that something considered as a movement in the application?

Probably not! My application reached Sydney on the 29th of May and my application changed to "in process" in the beginning of this month as well.

It must be a mistake. My visa office is CPC-Mississauga. I haven't gotten any communication regarding change of visa office.
On the PA side, it shows "we started processing your application on Jan 15, 2020".

Not all applicant got notification for (PR file transfer / VO change.)

• CPC-M start processing your PR Application on Aug. 27 2019 and send PCC / BIO / Medical.
• NDVO start Processing your PR Application on Jan. 15 2020. and update Ecas status for PR file to DM and soon you will get PPR. Check time line from DM to PPR for "New Delhi" VO in your case..

I think NDVO is severely understaffed.
The reason I say so is because when I submitted web-form, the website said that I would receive a reply in 28 working days.

yay! I checked ECAS after reading this and it's the same update for me. the sponsorship application tells us that We started processing your application on January 28, 2020.

it is weird that i don't see any updates on the My CIC account page.
