It seems like NDVO is in deep sleep. No updates recently.
Any theories out there as to why this is the case?

Congrats! re you in Ontario? Did you have to wait for 3 months to request the health card?

You can apply anytime but have to wait for 3 months of residency to get it according to the OHIP rule.

does it showing bio with new date with applicant information. mine is showing fingerprint required in details but in applicant information showing new one date and biometric#

Same here. In details it was showing fringerprint required and then changed to we have not received your biometric. In CIC account right top corner biometric information is updated with new dates.

It took 2 months for my moms bio to change from not received to completed

I have decision made showing today on ecas for principle applicant, but nothing changed on my cic account. Anything I have to be worried about is it’s normal.

@ashu.thind ottawa recv date is may 24. got med request on nov 6 after 30 days of dm. Me and alot of other applicant's file has been with ndvo since dec 12 and no ime request yet.
So there is no pattern.

in majority case NDVO sending Medical after PCC request.

It will not be a problem if it is more than 30 days. We just got passport request on jan 21st. We submitted everything mid sep, nov 25th they requested a new biometric saying the quality of the first one was not good. I sent a web form to negotiate not repeating the bio on jan 3rd and ecas showed decision made on jan 17 (so the negotiation worked)

Just wait at least for a month now that you submitted everything. Make sure you check mycic at least once a week. The repeat bio request was only sent to mycic and was not emailed at all.

Can you give us a general idea what you wrote in the letter for biometrics negotiation?
