Hi everyone!!

I got request from CIC for biometircs , but my mom and dad did that two years ago and they are good for 10 years I also submitted a copy of their biometrics with sponsorship files ........do they need to do biometrics again any help plz ...........also can i upload the old biometrics documents online..thanks,

As per CiC guidelines, applicant has to give biometrics every time they apply for Permanent residency no matter if they still have valid biometric done previously.
Having said that, immigration officers did exempt some of the applicants from 2019 PGP. If you want to try to get exemption, you can request by submitting a request through webform.

Quick question for the forum:
My dad did his studies in the UK back in the late 70s (for almost 7 years). And once his education was over he came back to his home country. I got an email requesting for a police certificate for the his home country only and not the UK. But there is a statement in the letter saying if you spend more than 6 months in a country you need to provide the PC... now shall I send both certificates or the one from his home country is enough?

Do what is asked for, doing more than asked for often delay the file as it confuses them

I have been asked to send my birth certificate on Aug 18 as per ECAS. Due to their glitch in the system, I didnt got the email from them about the instructions where to send it. So as per customer care, I sent it via webform and they confirmed that they have got the docs but after that there was no update from them and I am still waiting for my SA. I am thinking to re-send the document via email. Can somebody please help me to get their email where I can send it? I have originally sent my application to Ottawa office.

For CPC Mississauga this is the email. I am not sure for Ottawa. I thought all parents cases in Canada are in Mississauga.

Hey guys, I have a question. I'm kinda clueless as to what is going on with my application to sponsor my parents right now.

They got Biometrics and Medical request on Dec 19th, and I got them to do both. However, when I put my UCI on ECAS, it only says "medical received" and nothing about the Biometrics.

Additionally, I received a letter from CIC asking for Biometrics, PCC, Resume, Country Specific Requirements, Passport scans, etc. I have collected all the documents now and was going to send it to the given email address, but I am not sure why they asked for Biometrics in this document. My parents didn't receive a Biometrics document, just a receipt when they did theirs. Am I supposed to attach that?

Any guidance would be helpful, thanks in advance.
