Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hey Guys,

My application was receieved in Ottawa on June 25th. I receievd AOR on Dec9th. Since then i've been trying to linking paper application to my online cic account to get updates but it always gives me notice saying "application not found".

How long does it takes to get the paper application to link with online account. Is there a way i can reachout to immigration office? or should i wait more? Please advise.

Hello All,

Just curious if anybody is in same situation as my parents. Medicals have been passed and it shows on CIC as well. Parents also provided biometrics as required (about 4 weeks ago) BUT on CIC it still shows they need biometrics. The biometrics fields have already been populated. However, on CIC platform, it says Action Required and that they have not received the biometrics yet even though all the fields are populated. I called CIC and they said to contact NDVO for an update. Now I am wondering if NDVO is taking a long time to update CIC or if I should send a webform to confirm that I don't need to do anything else on our end.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Same issue here. Bio done on 17th Dec 2019...still says finger prints required. Sent email..Sent webform but no reply. Asked vfs global they said they share to VO on the same day .....

I am may 14th applicant I was asked same thing on nov 4th, send your school documents or passport where it’s says your parents name n all that, I sent it on nov 5th but since then heard nothing. What’s your application submission day

oops to answer your other question, mine was May 1, my passport doesn’t have my parents name, where do you find that?

I got Biometric Request today. However, Sponsorship application under Client Application Status still shows as In Process. If we got Biometric request does it mean Sponsorship is approved? Also, in how many days does Medical request come after Biometric?

Yes bio means SA...in 4-5 days you will get med request..

Medical Passed status applies to all people on the file. On myCIC there is no separate notification for dependents. So if you see this status, it means you both passed. Congrats!

504 - VTG1 - received SA letter via email 14 January and LVO is CPC-M not sure why since parents in India.
Request for all other info - PCC, info specific to country, Biometrics(already done), medical appointment on 20 January.
505 - VTG2 - received SA letter via email 14 January and LVO is CPC-M not sure why since parents in-law are also in India.
Request for all other info - PCC, info specific to country, Biometrics(already done), medical appointment partially completed 14 January, x Ray 16 January.

Question regarding birth certificate since none of the parents have it I was wondering if anyone has send Adhar card, voter id, PAN card and if that’s sufficient since no one has school certificates anymore!

Is there anybody who has been asked to send the form IMM 0008 for dependents again?
I sponsored my parents and my sister as their dependent child. Ankara office asked us to send the IMM 0008 for my mom and my sister. I don't get it as it is one form and their information were added in dependent sections. My question is: do I have to fill out the form again or for mom and sister separately? Because if I fill the form out separately or only for my mom and sister, the number of family in application won't be matched.
