Mine also showed "Your action is required" and I got medical request after 100 days of sending additional documents to NDVO.

My mother in law's application recvd date is May 27, 2019 and we have had no updates after that. Ecas shows in process. and GCKEY login shows background check not started. nothing is done on her file.

That's an old issue. Try clearing your cache or use different browser or in chrome use incognito

There is no mention of dependent in the PPR right ? Just mentioned PA name right ?

Yes, it's addressed to the principal applicant.

They did ask us to fill "Appendix A - Updated Information Chart" page.

It's a simple table with following columns.
Principal Applicant
Spouse or Partner

Surname
(as in passport)

First Name
(as in passport)

Passport Number

Passport Expiry (dd/mm/yyyy)

Height (cm)

Eye Colour Code (see chart below)

Native Language

Finally the journey that started on 10th May 2019 came to end on 3rd Jan 2020 when my parent landed as PR.
The whole process was a breeze and hardly took 15-20 mins.

But in my case, everything has been provided to IRCC. Medical is passed, PCC and travel information provided and it says we are reviewing your additional documents. but still the status remains the same "your action is required". What Action?

My parents are Europeans. Maybe that's why? They don't need visa to enter Canada. For us, we only need to send photocopies of our passports.
