Hey guys!

Just a quick question: is it possible to expedite getting an oath taking ceremony schedule? If so, what phone number can I call?

Long story short I booked a flight for February 2020, but I have yet to receive a ceremony schedule.

My timeline if it matters:
App Received: June 10, 2019
AOR: August 20, 2019
Test Date: November 5, 2019

No. If you’ve not heard by about 6 weeks before you travel submit a web form with your travel dates asking them to avoid those for the oath.

Thats what I did (albeit in person at the test) about my trip in a few days. And what I did 6 weeks ago, oddly I got the test invite the day after I said please avoid some specific December dates.

However, if it’s late Feb you are going you could be okay. Still a bit of time to go

folks that have already taken the test: what exact documents did you have to show at the interview?

I followed some link and sent an inquiry email to CIC. and this is what I got:
"

I have been waiting for a test date and application was received by them on Jan 17th.
I have called cic and they said they have been waiting for a test date to give it to me. They told me this about a month ago and i still dont have anything at hand.

November 23rd for the Test/Interview Letter. No idea why my name was struck out. Haven't really checked this thread much since my last update, unfortunately.

They just asked to see the 2 Original Personal Identification Documents for me. Asked me about my job and if I took any holidays between the time I got my PR and sent my Citizenship application. They got me out of there pretty quick (5 Minutes).

PS: I did bring all the original documents I had which I had submitted just in case.

Same boat here.. They told me at Nov 1st but now it’s almost two month now. Still nothing.

I know a lot of people would have vented but my application has been cleared since September and still no test/interview call.
I don't know why the inefficiency/bias with Mississauga applicants. :S
