that's your elapsed time on gckey (CIC) Mine is also at 79% for now.

it's 79% of DAYS elapsed / 365 (like 288 days)

CIC seemed to lag behind. Once we received the COPR then our CIC account was updated for several things (like background check etc.) but that all happened at the same time and the progress bar changed to 100% complete and it says "We are done processing your application".

We don't remember it giving us a % that it was "complete". We only remember seeing "13 weeks remaining"...but maybe we didn't notice the % complete. It definitely now shows "100% complete" though.

They introduced that update with percentages just recently I believe, after you had been approved.
