We had to cancel my mom's travel ticket to Canada on 30 Nov. I wish we knew the biometrics are going to open in Canada from Dec 2019.

Anyways, it is still a very welcoming news for us all.

Same issue with my case. My application was received on 21st June and no AOR email yet.
In CIC website I can see the parents PR sponsorship application status as "Application Received".
Does this mean the application is accepted?

My Best guess is - No. They might still be reviewing the application.

Hey @SAMHR . So i was told by the province today they have already responded to the IRCC on Sept 17 after getting the initial request on aug 29.


This is crazy that even though they got the response from province within 2 weeks for us they aren't still getting bavk to our file

And what's more crazy is even though they got the response on sept 17. My GCMS notes that i ordered on OCT 21 which is received on NOV 21 still says case pending receipt of SSC-ON Toronto.

Not yet. You can check the average processing times in the tracker from PA-DM to PPR...appx 8 days (average). However, my case is going slower than average.

Yeah - i am june 19th too. No AOR yet - but my ECAS is active and i was able to link my application in my CIC account.

Any update for PPRs please? I got DM on ECAS status for PA since Nov 16th but no PPR yet. My CIC online account info today shows

"Application status
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Latest update:
Review of medical results - XXXX, 2019:You passed the medical exam."

However yesterday it showed

"Application status
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date."

Does that mean CPC Mississauga did something for my case? Or it is just the system automatic message?

There is no average processing time. It used to take years to process but it has become much faster. IRCC has said 12-24 months but applications are being processed faster than a year.
