Do you guys think LMIA exempt extensions are approved faster than regular?
No it's not like that..
You can apply LMIA exemption work permit once yout employer pay compliance fee from employer specific portal, than IRCC issue LMIA exemption No.
After that you must applied through one of the economic PR program, and you must have a work permit support letter from PNP office of your residence.
All this documents makes visa officer very easy to review our eligibility
But PGWP is entitled to only students who successfully complete course under the guidelines of IRCC PGWP programs... so, it takes certain time to check your eligibility once they start reviewing.
And yes, LMIA exemption work permit only allows to work for your employer who paid and generated the LMIA number.. you can't work for or anyone else
