Hi! Anybody here have a IMM 1017 E form? I am applying my mom a super Visa but I am planning to under go medical test first then I will attached it together with her application.

Just found something strange on mycic, it shows application received on May 1, 2019 but on homepage, under date submitted it shows June 23, 2019. Which date should I consider for the processing of it?

Hi:

Did you sponsor your parents or parents in law before and when was your wife sponsored ? I am also stuck in Process (for my mother in law and I am the co-sponsor with my wife being the primary sponsor for her mom's application) and have sponsored my parents who becomes PR in 2012 and wife in 2010. I believe their sponsorship agreement is still in effect so CIC will do a check on that. I am not sure how long this takes. Looks like you are from Ontario too. Let me know when you find any updates.

It's already 5 months for me "in progress". I am also a co-sponsor for my mother in law. She became a Permanent Resident 10 day before I sent application for my parents. I assume that CIC is checking her for "getting social assistance".

I finally received an email as below last week. Does anyone What is the next step?

Dear Sir/Madam:
This refers to your application to sponsor your parent(s) or grandparent(s) (PGP) XXXX under the Family Class.
Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019.
Your application number is located below the date of this letter. You must quote this reference number in any future correspondence related to this file. This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment. Please keep a copy of this letter for your records.

That is AOR, your application is considered complete.
The next step will be sponsor approval

Hello, I still haven't got the AOR for parents PR application. I am worried if my application was missed somehow or are there people like me who haven't got their AOR?

1. On Nov 1, My ecas status changes to decision made And showed file is in process . My file is CPC mississauga .
2. Im still waiting for next step , I guess it should be passport request .
   
3. But its been more Then 20 days and didnt got any update . Is anyone in same situation ? Im a little worried

Same situation her. I'm from BC I sponsored my husband in 2017 and co-signed inlaws last year. My patent application in shows in process since oct 10. No update after that

Mine stuck in process too since 10 oct. Background check taking very long time... May be I sponsored my husband and then my inlaws

Further to the letter requesting for additional documentation like IMM5662 Supplementary Travel information, resume, police clearance certificate on 15th Nov, today 20th Nov - we submitted all the documents.
Biometrics completed in Bangalore on Nov 18, 2019.
Waiting for the next step in process!
