Hi There,

Need your help with my case. I need to get police certificate for my parents.. My mom is currently staying back home (i assume we need to police certificate from home country) and my father staying on visitor visa in canada currently so i assume i need to get police certificate from embassy here in canada. Note my father is primary applicant in PGP application. So getting certs from two diff countries on same application will not cause issue.

Today when I login to MYCIC the current status shows:Application/ profile updated. I went into it and saw the background check changed to “ we are processing your background check”. Anyone who has the same status? Will everyone who apply for the PGP will have the background check mandatory?

I have same status since early October after I sent all addl docs by email. Awaiting DM.

Guys can anybody share experience of getting PCC from india particularly ghaziabad office..

They book appointment online but alot time of their choice ? Now we cannot choose our time. And do people really get police visit and in what cases

Hello fellow applicants,
I just received a request for PCC and was a bit confused about how to send the copy.
The request email mentioned "send to this office in one envelope". I assumed that meant snail mail.
However, at the end of the email, it also included this line, "all responses should be sent via email to spore.immigration@international.gc.ca".
Can someone with prior experience help me out?

I just got similar letter 10 mins ago. In it it says PCCs including from Canada to send original copies to "this office in one envelope."
The email IS legit. I have dealt with Singapore Immigration via this email a couple of times recently.
On the safe side, I intend to send the document request via this email too.

Hmm not sure is this is a legit email address. May be somebody else should confirm too. May be google the mail address if it is legit before proceeding..

It is legit. From my experience just 3 weeks ago, their replies were impressively prompt!

Yeah I got same request two weeks back, I didn’t have adhar card and grade 5 documents so I just sent an explanation letter and my grade 10 and 12 certificate

Hi! I am the 26 June application, I mean they received my application on June 26 with signature by Canada Post and I didn’t receive anything... Is someone in the same boat? Thank you in advance!!!

June 21st here, still nothing.

my guess is most people waited until last minute to send in their applications, thus compare to people who sent in earlier, April, May.. June is taking a lot longer.

Thanks for the response. But without the Biometrics Request, PCC & Medical Request how should I proceed? As I mentioned earlier, the applicant (my mother) has not received any of them yet.
