My ECAS just says:
Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 29, 2019.
2. We sent you a letter on October 6, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We sent you medical instructions on October 8, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

   this means that my application is not currently being processed by a Visa Office yet right?

Right. Mine is showing the same as yours. Im hoping they will start processing mine today.

Hey guys, just wanted some clarity.
We just received passport request and are confused because they are asking for a photocopy of our passport along with two photos, which were already part of the original application we sent. We are from USA so we don't need a visa.

What is the purpose of this? And why are they not able to use the ones already in the original application? It's been less than 6 months and the only thing they would need is a return envelope, but they're not even receiving the actual passport... what would they be returning to us?

The 2 photos sent in the application were for your permanent residence card.

Do you have to send the copy of your passport to a different visa office?

They started processing on 14th and got PPR on 15th. Freaking out.

My (sponsor's) ECAS and PA's ECAS are identical. Except PA's ECAS status updates are more directed to him.

PA's:
