Anyone can help me how to extend the stay on supervisa ? My friends Parents were given paper to leave in 6 months on port of entry since they didn’t show insurance papers. Now he wants to extend their stay on supervisa. Any idea how can he extend the stay please help if anyone’s has extended the stay in past please.

Did they secure insurance before they arrived and can you prove that. Then you can attempt to apply for an extension. Without proof that they had insurance chances are likely low but if they did have insurance the whole time they have a good chance at an extension.

No they didnt secure insurance before coming here. So now if he gets insurance for another 1 year and show that during extension, does that not work ?

Im pretty sure someone in the forum extended their parents twice for 1 year each time and they are here since 4 years. I cant find the person. I need urgent help since its only 40 days remaining for him.

Did you get the additional document request through MyCic?

Yes, the request came from Mycic account, however, they asked me to send the response through email.
Today I checked my status on mycic account it reads we are reviewing additional documents you provided. I believe it means they have received additional documents. @robertp, @bdidol; @YULIA-2016 or any other experienced friends can you please advise how long NDVO takes to review the documents and what can be next step. They have just asked me to provide travel history. I had already provided them a complete copy of the passport during the application stage.
